Who is eligible?
Carrum Health is available to associates and their covered dependents (age 18+) enrolled in an AutoNation Blue Cross Blue Shield 50%, 60%, 70% or 80% medical plan option.
*Individuals enrolled in the Blue Cross Blue Shield 60% medical option must first meet the deductible (copays and coinsurance amounts will be waived). However, the initial consultation with the selected Carrum Health surgeon will not apply any member cost share because Carrum Health surgeon consultations are free to the member. Check with Carrum Health to verify which procedures are covered.

Carrum Health covers a wide range of non-emergency surgical and medical care from top doctors in the country who specialize in a variety of conditions. You’ll even be able to receive a second opinion from one of these experts, at no cost to you. To see if Carrum covers the procedure or treatment you may need, log in to your account and simply enter the care you need when prompted.
Depending on your medical plan and the type of care you need, you may first need to meet your deductible, but otherwise most, if not all, costs are often covered. Second opinions are provided at no cost to members, and do not require payment of any deductible. To see how much you may need to pay, complete your Carrum Health profile or connect with our care team today. Sometimes, to get the best care possible, you may need to travel to a specialized hospital or care center. Fortunately, in these instances, travel expenses like airfare, hotel fees, and even meals are often covered for you and a companion, depending on the care you need. Your Carrum Care Specialist will even make all of your travel arrangements, so all you have to do is focus on yourself. After completing your Carrum Health profile and letting us know what type of care you’re looking for, you’ll see a list of requirements for your specific case. You’ll also be asked to complete an online release form, so that necessary medical records and images can be collected by our team and sent to your doctor for review. If you are enrolled in the 80% plan you have the option to use out-of-network coverage for these services (standard plan cost-sharing will apply).
